The Science.
Your Blueprint.

The “Analog You” Made Digital.

We’re all analog beings, right? Very unlike computers, humans do not speak in zeros and ones. We “speak” in waves. We have different personalities, distinct body types, hair color and susceptibility to disease, for example. Some are by nature, thin, while others are not. Some are born with athletic ability and some with perfect pitch. These are the outliers though, several standard deviations from the peak of the bell-shaped curve. Yet, they’re not as remote as they may appear at first glance. We do share an inalienable commonality: our “human-ness,” meaning that we all live in this species-specific spectrum bounded by evolution and at a more base level, our genome. We’re all human, right? And despite our perceived differences and the fact that you are statistically unlikely to have (or even less likely to meet) your doppelganger, we’re all – at base level – very similar.

Due to our shared makeup and preserved biochemistry, we are all susceptible to the same disease processes. Similarly, you are capable of extending your healthspan – not only your chronological age but the length of time during which you have your vim, vigor and functionality, absent disease. How? By bucking the trend. By freeing yourself from the shackles of the current healthcare system – one that fosters disease, not health. By asking questions early, by identifying not disease, but disease risk factors. And treating them. Aggressively. And this is exactly what we do in our state-of-the-art clinic.

I tell my patients, “We take the ‘analog you’ and make you digital.” Yes, by looking at you through a variety of lenses – ultrasound and biochemical testing, for example – we can assimilate a “digital profile” of you and make an accurate assessment of your risk for age-related disease, those most likely to kill you: coronary artery disease and cancer, for example. Remember, due to our conserved biochemistry – as homo sapiens – we tend to develop the same metabolic glitches that predispose us to disease. And they’re easily identified with our in-office technology.

My Data. My “Zeroes and Ones.” Now What?

Amassing data is one thing, but data for data’s sake are worthless. The vast majority of genetic data fall under this category. Why? Because mainstream human genome manipulation through technologies such as CRISPR is a least a decade away. And quite frankly, this won’t solve the world’s health problems as so-called “epigenetics” play more of a role than the gene sequences themselves. That’s right, the signals that you “show your genes” are more important than how the base pairs are arranged. Strength training anyone? And so I ask, why have your DNA sequenced or for that matter, undergo any test if you’re not going to tailor treatment based upon the results of the test? We don’t do this. We pride ourselves on collecting “actionable” data – the stuff you can do something about. And then, help you do that something! In essence, we teach you how to right the “zero’s and one’s.” Is there any reason you shouldn’t have the biochemical data profile of someone in their teens or early 20’s? Not to my knowledge. And it doesn’t end there. We not only use medical technology to reduce your risk for disease, but we also use medical technology to make you ‘better,’ a more optimal version of you. This is the Future of Medicine. Today.

The Five Cornerstones. Be an OPTIMAL You.

  • Nutrition
  • Supplementation
  • Strength Training
  • Pharmaceuticals (as needed)
  • Stress Reduction Techniques

Just Follow the Science.

Our protocol incorporates the five modalities above to “show your body” – really your genes – the right signals to which it adapts. The result? A leaner, happier and healthier you. All backed by data. After all who doesn’t want to be “21 again?”

The best part is… We’ll be with you every step of the way. No, we can’t do it all for youhealth takes work, remember – but we can certainly pave the way. All you have to do is follow the prescribed protocol. Should you have questions along the way, just ask. Unfamiliar with strength training, for example? Not a gym-goer? We’ve got that covered too. We offer strength training sessions within the confines of our clinic in our state-of-the-art Performance Center. Bottom line: We will do whatever it takes to help you meet your health and fitness goals. You simply have to follow the science, because it works every time.
